Thanks for the bug report, it's fixed in Git: https://github.com/grml/grml- live/commit/ca66f695cba06a791018ad6d5e599433a53bce54 and will be shipped as part of the next stable grml-live version + Grml ISO release. regards, Mika

Please add the packages uuid-runtime to GRML_FULL. I had the need to change the UUID of ext4 filesystems using > uuidgen \| xargs tune2fs /dev/hdaX -U ; vol_id /dev/hdaX and found that uuidgen, provided by the package uuid-runtime, was missing from grml96-full_2012.05.iso
