Nothing to do for current sid:
# debconf-get-selections | grep dash
# Use dash as the default system shell (/bin/sh)?
dash dash/sh boolean true
Regarding dash in testing/squeeze:
Checking dash
trying to update dash from 0.5.5.1-2 to 0.5.5.1-2.3 (candidate is 6 days old)
dash is not yet built on kfreebsd-i386: 0.5.5.1-2.2 vs 0.5.5.1-2.3 (missing 1
binary: dash)

So I'll close this bugreport for now as we've nothing to do in our toolchain.
If we notice any bugs in any tools/scripts/... we should file separate
bugreports anyway.

Yeah, though I expect failures in some of our tools. ;)
But let's give it a shot for the next devel-release.
I've to check out what's the proper way to enable this in our build
process.

I'm not really involved with this, but still: At least grml 1.1 was
still using /bin/bash as /bin/sh, is /bin/dash transition still a goal
we are pursuing?
How would we provide an environment, that let's users test /bin/sh as
dash? A special set of grml-live setup files?
Regards, Frank
I'd like to test /bin/dash as /bin/sh for the whole distribution (including all
our scripts). I suggest to investigate on that after the next stable release.
