This is an old bug that did not gain substantial momentum after being
marked 'needs-progress' for a considerable amount of time.

The bug is closed as 'dead'.

If someone is actually working(!) on this issue again feel free to
reopen it, so the progress can be monitored within the BTS.

This is an old bug that did not move for a considerable amount of
time. Therefore this issue is marked as 'needs-progress'. We will be
monitoring this issue for the period of a month. If it does not gain
substantial momentum up to that time, the bug will be closed as 'dead'.

Notes about the bug:
The discussion about this bug has gone pretty far. So, what remains to
be done it giving the colorscheme a proper name and get it included
upstream (which is cmus-unofficial currently; the unoffical
maintainers can be reached via the cmus-devel mailing list).

I do care about this, though I want and need clean and smooth
integration into Debian. No rebuilding of other packages, no fidling
with other package's conffile,... - and if the config can be changed
by users (if they don't like it): hurray! :)

ACK

Ah, thx4info.

Alex: do you mind taking care of this?

Another old one.
Do we or don't we care about this?

Here's my point of view:
Stuff like this should get a "speaking name" like "peanut butter" for
a colorscheme that resembles such colors and be submitted upstream.

With cmus, the problem of lack of upstream activity. cmus-unofficial
would probably take such contributions without much hesitation.

So, there. Now you got my view. What do you guys think, so that we can
get over with bugs as old as this, that even got a patch attached.

Regards, Frank

Introducing a minimal config in combination with the theme `grml' for
cmus.
Only colorscheme according to my suggestions on the grml devel
mailinglist[1] gets set. Everything else is left to the default -
/usr/share/cmus/rc - since the default settings and bindings are
wisely chosen.
