Merged mika/merge-udev-140 into master and uploaded 0.140-2grml.01 to grml-
testing repository.

Notice that I've pushed all my changes to branch mika/merge-udev-140. This 
branch needs heavy testing before merging it into master.

udev 0.140-1 is available in Debian/unstable, would be great if you could work

JFYI: AFAIK Marco will start working on the udev package in those
days and Ubuntu has libudev packaged already IIRC. Please ping me if
you plan to work on the udev package so we can coordinate this.

Any chance that you synchronise grml's udev package with Debian's version 
0.125-7 and make a code-review of our diff.gz in the next days/weeks? Would be 
good if we are prepared for an updated udev package. :)

grml's udev package is a bit outdated, upstream provides version 0.134. As soon 
as the grml stable release 2008.11 is available we should work on updated udev 
packages. As there are changes in the build process of udev (IIRC) we might 
want to wait for an update of Debian's udev which might not happen before 
release of lenny. Anyway: I'd like to work out with parts of udev could be 
taken from Debian's udev and whether we have any chance to provide a udev-grml 
package with just a few configuration changes.

Just as a reminder and so we don't forget about it. :)
