Works with recent live-boot, but persistent=nofiles needs to be changed into "persistent" only so persistency works, see https://github.com/grml/grml-live/commit/9dc2a44a4f884dd4a10c0e1e638decb49127352c

Quoting the relevant line of /live-boot.log: \| mount: mounting aufs on /root/ failed: Numerical argument out of domain Full details: http://michael-prokop.at/screeni/gkrellShoot_11-11-07_170606.png /dev/sda1 is a vfat file system with volume name "live-rw". As soon as I'm booting with bootoption "persistent=nofiles" it fails. Works fine with ext3.
