Has been resolved by your patch using:

  -v, --verbose            Increase verbosity.
  -V, --version            Show summary of options and exit.

I'd like to add the --verbose command line parameter to grml-debootstrap. The
problem is that I hope it can take over the short -v switch, and use -V for
--version, just like what perl does. 

How is that?
