This has been fixed with the grml.org/download redesign.

http://download.grml.org/ is available as mirror on http://grml.org/download/ - 
AFAICS there's nothing I could do for now to further improve that, should be 
considered for the homepage redesign though.

Alex, since you already implemented the download.grml.org feature: what do we 
have to do to use download.grml.org nowadays? Nothing else than announcing and 
integration that on our homepage? :)

It would be nice as download.grml.org already works to use it as default and
update the website accordingly
