Issue 858: git.grml.org is too slow

Thanks to ch & mika and the spring cleanup everything is fresh, fancy and speedy. Closing it for now, marking it as cbb as we may want to switch to gitolite

The main page of git.grml.org takes loooooong to load, we should speed this up.
