grep your logs for '^E:', there's a package failing to install.

hi mika,

I know the bug has been closed, but could you give me an extra hand please?
I've applied both of your suggestions:

First I tried:

 gpg -a --export 07DC563D1F41B907 >
/etc/grml/fai/config/package_config/debian-multimedia.asc

I can then see:

updatebase.GRMLBASE OK.
Calling task_updatebase
Loading APT key from debian-multimedia.asc OK
Calling hook: instsoft.GRMLBASE

but I still get error:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
$ grep -i 'error: ' /var/log/fai/depen/last/software.log
ERROR: 65280 65280
ERROR: chroot /dev/shm/gl/grml_chroot aptitude . .

See, the "GPG error" has gone now, but 65280 error still remains.

Then I turned on FAI_ALLOW_UNSIGNED:

head -5 class/DEPEN_1LIVE.var
# default values for installation. You can override them in your *.var files

# allow installation of packages from unsigned repositories
FAI_ALLOW_UNSIGNED=1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
% grml-live -a $ARCH -c $CLASSES -g $USE_NAME -i $USE_NAME.iso

Set FAI_ALLOW_UNSIGNED to 1 in /etc/grml/fai/config/class/*.var
or use

| package_config/
| Files with class names contain lists of software packages to be
| installed or removed. Files named *.asc are added to the key list of
| apt.

as documented on
http://www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/fai-guide/ar01s07.html

Closing the bugreport.

no, it's actually irrelevant. The actual reason is,

fai failed due to aptitude refusing to install packages from "untrusted" source
-- now the

 ERROR: 65280 65280

is the only error that I have. For its cause, refer to

[sending to bts instead of dev-mlist because the big attachment can
be removed later on once the issue has been resolved]

hi,

I'm having problem using GRML_LIVE_SOURCES to specify a third party repo,
namely debian-multimedia. Many attempts have been failed, and the last one's
cause is beyond me. Is it because:

 W: Duplicate sources.list entry...

Moreover, which file in chroot does GRML_LIVE_SOURCES affects? I've checked

 grml_chroot/etc/apt/sources.list
 grml_chroot/etc/apt/sources.list.grml
 grml_chroot/etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list
 grml_chroot/etc/apt/sources.list.d/grml.list

but none seems to contain my setting.

Please help.
Thanks
