This feature isn't part of live-initramfs but grml-autoconfig only
nowadays. (Please notice that there was a fix addressing the new
directory layout in grml-autoconfig version 0.8.4, so the old
behaviour is present in userspace as well).
But I guess you'd like to use bootoptions which trigger the
initramfs behaviour instead of userspace, right?
