It has some features that may be helpful on the serial console. I was
however a little astonished to see grml-quickconfig popping up on the
"real" console that I happened to have selected on the KVM switch as
well.

The login prompt is shown after Enter is pressed, so everything is
fine. It's a cosmetic issue.
