0.9-7 beta CD fails to configure external USB disk.  No /dev/sd* entry.  No
fstab entry.  The udev rules also fail (such as disk-by-label).  Could not run
cfdisk.

Same failures running 'toram' and normally.

The disk did show up as ATA/IDE under udev disk-by-id.  Obviously that's wrong.

The USB disk works fine.  I am reporting from the exact same USB disk under grml
2.6.18.  The test was a CD-ROM boot procedure of course.
