Here is my simple but working patch:

change the following line:

-ca::ctrlaltdel:/etc/init 0
+ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/init 0

# patch /etc/inittab < inittab.patch
# init q

press CTRL-ALT-DEL and have fun. ;)
