No user feedback for ~1 year, marking bug as "dead".

Can you reproduce this issue also with Grml 2013.09?
I tend to close the bug report otherwise.

i confirm that chvt 3 as root works as expected! and from the tty3 i can
move to other terminals using alt+f4 ...

What happens if you run 'chvt 3' as root from X?
What graphics cards are you using (run 'hwinfo --gfxcard')?

start x using the grml-x
try to change to the another tty using ctrl+alt+F3
