Sorry, I'm just running out of time currently (unstable keeps me

After releasing grml 1.0 I'd like to implement this feature.

I'd suggest /etc/init.d/haltlocal.{first,middle,last} as names for this 
feature. The question is: where should we place the initscripts? Besides the 
bootlocal* scripts? So we would have something like:

01      -       S               /etc/init.d/bootlocal.first
29      -       2               /etc/init.d/bootlocal.middle
99      -       2               /etc/init.d/bootlocal.last

and:

01      0,1,6       -               /etc/init.d/haltlocal.first
29      0,1,6       -               /etc/init.d/haltlocal.middle
99      0,1,6       -               /etc/init.d/haltlocal.last

Any opinions?

It would be nice if there exists also init scripts like bootfirst.local etc.
This is for example usefull if you have to unload modules on halt/reboot
